Dr. Donovan Christie
MD, Founder, and Medical Director
Dr. Donovan Christie, MD is the founder of ANWAN Wellness Medical Center P.C., the ANWAN Regenerative Center and the Picture of Health Foundation Inc since 2000. He is passionate about preventive medicine as the practice focuses on integrative and functional medicine utilizing practical lifestyle interventions such as nutrition, exercise, spirituality, natural neutraceuticals, hormone replacement, stem cell and platelet rich plasma therapy, detoxification, intravenous nutritional infusions, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, and pellet therapy. Dr. Christie received his MD degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, his Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency from Columbia University and his anti-aging, integrative and regenerative fellowship from the American Academy of AntiAging Medicine.
He founded the Picture of Health foundation Inc, a non-profit organization that focuses on short term medical outreach locally and internationally and wellness education and health screens nationally. He is an author, educator and assistant professor of Medicine at the Ross University school of Medicine.

Shannon Christie, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Shannon began her healthcare journey as a Registered Nurse, spending 10 years in Emergency Medicine—an experience that built a solid foundation for her expertise in Urgent Care. Her clinical focus has since expanded to include family, holistic, and integrative medicine, inspired by her father, Dr. Donovan Christie, a respected Medical Director and philanthropist.
In addition to primary care, Shannon is skilled in aesthetic medicine and performs cosmetic treatments such as PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), Botox, and dermal fillers, which she performs at the Regenerative Center. She combines clinical precision with an artistic approach to help patients enhance their natural beauty safely and effectively.
Shannon is passionate about patient education, wellness coaching, and incorporating mindfulness into health practices. She is actively involved in her church community and is committed to global health outreach, having participated in medical missions to Peru, Senegal, Uganda, and Ghana.
Outside of her practice, Shannon enjoys spending quality time with her family, cooking, reading, gardening, and engaging in other outdoor activities.

Dr. Kieara Dawson, DCBoard-Certified Chiropractor & Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200)
Dr. Kieara Dawson is a board-certified chiropractor from LaPlace, Louisiana, with a passion for whole-body wellness and patient empowerment. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Southeastern Louisiana University. She completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University, where she trained extensively in Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, extremity adjusting, and physiotherapy techniques.
Dr. Dawson blends traditional chiropractic care with supportive practices from yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, and soft tissue techniques. Her approach focuses on improving mobility, restoring alignment, reducing pain, and helping patients develop a deeper awareness of how their bodies move and respond throughout the day. As a certified Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), she integrates accessible movement strategies to stabilize the spine and support long-term healing.
She is committed to treating every patient as a whole person and takes time to understand each individual’s lifestyle, stress patterns, and functional habits. Her goal is to equip patients with practical tools they can use between visits to feel aligned, grounded, and confident in their health journey.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Dawson enjoys biking, sewing, and practicing yoga. She loves exploring creative outlets and staying connected to mind-body wellness in her daily life.
Bernice Monger
Family Nurse Practitioner
Bernice Monger, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is an Adult-Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with strong clinical experience in urgent care, primary care, chronic disease management, and medical weight management. She is skilled in evaluating and treating acute and chronic conditions, developing individualized care plans, and supporting patients through structured wellness and weight-management programs.
Ms. Monger is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care with a focus on clear communication, compassion, and supporting the mind, body, and overall well-being of each individual. She values creating a supportive environment where patients feel respected, informed, and confident in their care.
She currently serves as a Nurse Practitioner at ANWAN Wellness Medical Center, providing comprehensive care across both acute and outpatient settings.
Brianna Molina
Physician Assistant
Brianna Molina is a board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in Family Medicine. She is passionate about caring for underserved communities and enjoys building long-term relationships with patients while helping them navigate chronic conditions, preventive health, and lifestyle changes.
Brianna earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies with Academic Honors from Morehouse School of Medicine and is currently completing her Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc). Her clinical interests continue to grow through ongoing research focused on how racial bias affects pain management in Black patients and how healthcare systems can promote more equitable outcomes. She is deeply committed to reducing health disparities and creating care experiences that feel respectful, accessible, and empowering for every patient.
Before becoming a PA, Brianna gained experience in oncology support, epidemiology research, pediatrics and studied abroad in Santiago, Chile, an opportunity that strengthened her belief in compassionate, culturally aware care. She is also a National Health Service Corps Scholar and an Alice Walton Scholarship recipient.
At the heart of her practice, Brianna values clear communication, patient empowerment, and creating a welcoming space where individuals feel supported throughout every stage of their health journey.
Christina Small
Physician Assistant
Christina is a board-certified Physician Assistant, originally from Brooklyn, New York. She received her Bachelor of Science with a minor in nonprofit leadership from Clemson University. She continued her education at Morehouse School of Medicine, earning her Master’s in Public Health. After working in various sectors of public health for nearly ten years, she returned to school and earned her Masters in Physician Assistant Practice. As a provider who is dedicated to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care, she is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in medicine. Outside of work, Christina loves spending quality time with her husband and family, traveling, and serving her community.
Khalil Bryant
Physician Assistant
Khalil Bryant is a certified Physician Assistant with a strong foundation in both sports and medicine. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Khalil earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Indiana University, where he was also a four-year letter winner on the university’s Division I football team.
Following his undergraduate studies, Khalil began his clinical career in orthopedic surgery, specializing in total knee and hip replacements. His hands-on experience in the surgical setting laid the groundwork for a deeper commitment to patient-centered care.
Khalil went on to attend Physician Assistant school in California and completed his clinical training in Atlanta, Georgia. He joined Anwan Wellness Medical Center to complete his training and has since become an integral member of the care team. His diverse background and passion for health optimization allow him to connect with patients of all backgrounds, combining medical expertise with a personal, compassionate approach to wellness.
